As the new Principal of Ward School I look forward to seeing how our Tamariki continue to develop and grow as active learners and participants in our community. Our vision of Leading Our Learning – Whai Akoranga drives everyone to be on TRACK at Ward School. We want our learners to know that they can make a difference to what and how they learn, the choices they make, and the relationships they have with others and their environment. Our “On TRACK” school values of being Together, Respectful, Adaptable, Creative, and Kind are the foundation of how we think, act, behave and grow at Ward School. At Ward School we create opportunities for every learner to have success and feel inspired to lead their learning by using “On TRACK” values all the way to the SEA. We want our awesome students to be Self-managing, Engaged, Active learners who think critically and seek to make positive impacts in their current and future communities.

Hello all, We are wanting to go and listen to an Author tomorrow at Seddon. Unfortunately we haven't had any offers of transport yet. Miss Bamford and I will take cars but we will need 1 or 2 parents as well. Please email me if you are available. We need to be in Seddon for 9:30 (leave just after 9:00) and will be done by 10:30 you don't have to stay for the hour if you don't want to.

Please find the permission & Help form for Friday's trip attached
Hi all, apologies for the late ntice but we have been given a great opportunity to give back to the community tomorrow. The Reef has been asked to help out with some tree planting down at Ward Beech. We will take the bus at about 9:50 to arrive by 10:00am and stay until about 12:00pm. If Children could bring some extra warm clothes that would be great. Also if they are able to bring a named 'digging spade' that would be helpful too (only if able not essential). Parents are welcome to join us and help out.
