As the new Principal of Ward School I look forward to seeing how our Tamariki continue to develop and grow as active learners and participants in our community. Our vision of Leading Our Learning – Whai Akoranga drives everyone to be on TRACK at Ward School. We want our learners to know that they can make a difference to what and how they learn, the choices they make, and the relationships they have with others and their environment. Our “On TRACK” school values of being Together, Respectful, Adaptable, Creative, and Kind are the foundation of how we think, act, behave and grow at Ward School. At Ward School we create opportunities for every learner to have success and feel inspired to lead their learning by using “On TRACK” values all the way to the SEA. We want our awesome students to be Self-managing, Engaged, Active learners who think critically and seek to make positive impacts in their current and future communities.

Reminder - RideOn Bikes Monday

Afternoon everyone,

Just a reminder that children need to bring their bikes to school on Monday and Tuesday, for those who have indicated they will be bringing them.

The RideOn Bike Skills team will be running sessions as follows:

Reef: 9:30am – 10:30am
Wavepool: 11:00am – 12:30pm
Rockpool: 1:30pm – 2:30pm

Parent Interviews - 24th/25th of March

Bookings are now live for next week's interviews. Just open the bookings tab in the app. You can select the teacher date and time. My apologies for the delay in getting them set up. Time slots are for 10 minutes on Tuesday 24th til 6:00 pm and Wednesday 25th til 4:30 pm.

Swimming Pool is now CLOSED

Hi all, just a note to let you know that we have now closed the Swimming Pool for the season. With the temperatures dropping the heat pump has been freezing. It is also making it difficult to maintain water quality. Being closed means we will no longer check chlorine and pH levels, and the heat pump will be turned off. If you have rented a key we would love them to be dropped back to the office.
