As the new Principal of Ward School I look forward to seeing how our Tamariki continue to develop and grow as active learners and participants in our community. Our vision of Leading Our Learning – Whai Akoranga drives everyone to be on TRACK at Ward School. We want our learners to know that they can make a difference to what and how they learn, the choices they make, and the relationships they have with others and their environment. Our “On TRACK” school values of being Together, Respectful, Adaptable, Creative, and Kind are the foundation of how we think, act, behave and grow at Ward School. At Ward School we create opportunities for every learner to have success and feel inspired to lead their learning by using “On TRACK” values all the way to the SEA. We want our awesome students to be Self-managing, Engaged, Active learners who think critically and seek to make positive impacts in their current and future communities.

Mountain Bike Madness – Information for Years 3–8 (Optional event)

Hi all,

Today, your child should have brought home a notice about Mountain Bike Madness, an event hosted by Seddon School for students in Years 3–8. All students will have received this notice.

Please note that participation in this event is completely optional.

If your child is interested in taking part, please return the signed notice to Mrs Bamford by Friday, 17th October.

Also, please be aware that it is the responsibility of parents/caregivers to transport their child and their bike to the event. There is an attached form outlining the bike safety requirements — all bikes must be checked before the event.

I have attached the forms just incase.
